Lawrence Wolf Levin grew up on the North side of Chicago, and attended the University of Missouri where he was awarded his undergraduate degree. After college, and after meeting his wife Jaimee, Lawrence was accepted to Loyola University School of Law – Chicago. Lawrence graduated, passed the bar exam, and worked as a judicial law clerk for Justice George N. Leighton of the Illinois Appellate Court. After that Lawrence began working in the Cook County States Attorney office as a prosecutor. His stint in the prosecutors office was short lived as he left shortly after starting to open The Law Offices of Lawrence Wolf Levin – A Criminal Defense Firm.
Lawrence began his successful legal career over 40 years ago and has focused on major criminal matters including Murder, Armed Robbery, Battery, Aggravated Assault, Mortgage Fraud, and complex narcotics litigation as well as other Misdemeanor and Felony charges. He is an experienced litigator who spends the majority of his time in court fighting for his clients. Lawrence’s experience spans across both State and Federal court, and he has been identified as a Super Lawyer in Illinois / Chicago.
Lawrence has been interviewed on CNBC, CNN, WGN, NBC, ABC, as well as other television networks. He is frequently quoted in the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times on legal issues, and has been a guest moot court judge / lecturer at Loyola University School of Law – Chicago and Chicago - Kent School of Law.
